maybe doing pairs with my friend and her dartmoor, and we were wondering if you have to do an individual show?

Yes, go round & individual show required. It is usually a show of your choice, but I have been asked to do a set show before.

Show is required and this is how most of the judging is based on, so try to do a clever show. You also do a go round. At Equifest, I'm sure there is pre-judging where you'll have to do a show in the main ring, then the results are in the evening performance with a go round.

we have never had to do an individual at equifest, usually just all walk, trot and canter round on each rein, this year may be different though as a lot of people complained about the way it was judged last year, so i would have one planned just incase

Only ever had to do individual show at PUK. Rest of the shows you just all go round in a group, sometimes you don't even have to canter. Be safe and put a simple but affective show together!
