I have got a very nice In Hand Bridle for Ennerbobs but am unsure of which bit to use. As she is a filly do I use a silver bit or a brass nylon one? Also do I use a coupling on the bit or just run a chain through?
Many thanks! ;D

Will she not show in an inhand show halter? (i.e. without a bit). Most of the shetland fillies/mares in classes I've been in don't seem to have bits. I don't use one while showing my mare either.
Sorry, I've made the assumption she's a shetland - don't know why? If not, then I'd go for whatever bit she prefers. My colt liked a magic bit (small and neat and not too much metal in his mouth). Nylon ones are very thick and my pony found them too big and he wasn't happy in it.
