evening everyone, came across this site the other week, im on a few others to.
anyway between myself and my mum (and sisters when their home) we own charlie. his breeding is unknown but previous owner thought he was welsh cob x irish draught. he is 13yr and 14.2 and a bit LOL!
when we brought him as a 10yr old who the was scared to ride, so stuffed him both ends and did nothing with him. so yep he was what you call morbidly obese.
we still have a constant battle with his weight but he has improved ten fold. we do alot of showing (local) to as he aint the worlds greatest jumper! anyway heres a few pics.
this is a few months after we brought him doing some fun shows to give him something different to do. you can see how obese he was! and this is after he started losing the weight!!
and these are more recent pics still not perfect but getting there!
