I am looking for a sensibly priced show saddle for a 4 year old Fell and would be grateful for any advice. Is there any other saddle that might fit other than a £700 option? He is going to change shape a lot (I hope!) over the next few months as he is working and I just want an entry level saddle with a view to a 'proper' saddle next year. I have tried a few wide saddles from the fantastic Sandon Saddlery but none of them fit! Thank you!

I use a fylde hayden on my boy , he's a mature 9yr old fell - so hopefully you will get one to fit your youngster? They come up for sale all the time on here and on ebay or you could try Peter at fylde saddlery direct? Just google him for his number xx

I have a 16 inch wide which you are welcome to try. I bought it for a Highland but have sold the pony, its in very lightly used condition but is unbranded English leather
