IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE MORE SHOWS IN THE SUFFOLK /NORFOLK AREA OVER THE YEARS WE SEEM TO HAVE LOST LOADS OF LOCAL SHOWS, WHERE IT WAS NICE TO GET OUT YOUNG PONIES AND NERVOUS JOCKEYS ALSO THEY ALWAYS MADE A GREAT DAY OUT.WE COMPETE AT A HIGHER LEVEL AS WELL AND THERE ALSO SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN A DECLINE WITH QUALIFYING SHOWS AS WELL IN OUR AREA IM SURE SOME OF US COULD GET TOGETHER ,PUT OUR THINKING CAPS ON.

Hi Jomarge60, could you not type in capitals please? Apparently its the equivalent of shouting and it's quite rude! (I didn't know that until someone told me!) Thanks.

jomarge- we have exactly the same problem in the South East- very few BSPS/P(UK) Shows at all, there used to be loads years ago! The Great Chart ladies do an excellent job of supplying us with qualifiers but that's about it!

Hi Thanks for your reply re your lack of shows in the South East. Equifest looks like it will be a good show and hopefully increase the shows within all areas. It will be nice to go back to the Petebrough Showground, the new indoor arena looks amazing. We are in the process of organising a show within our area hopefully for 2009, but it does depend on support and sponsors.

Be brave. Organise a good old fashioned "post & rope" show!
