i'm wanting a patey hat but dont know much about them
all i know is they are very expensive.... they are made to measure or can you just get a standard size? i'm wanting the really high crown one is this standard with patey hats any help guys or if anyone has one for sale in navy high crown 6 7/8 xxxx

The last time I was given a price for basically a made to measure it was around the £450 mark
You can buy the PY model which is the high crown and sometimes they do 25% discount at certain shows think they are £400 ish

I think the whole point is that they are made to measure, and therefore to fit; being non-strapped, the fit is paramount.
I seem to remember from previous threads on here, that they are meant to fit quite tightly, and people commented that although they loved the look and the quality, they found them uncomfortable to wear.
I know it's individual choice but personally I'd stick to a strapped hat to the relevant safety standard, if you intend using it for ridden work. Your choice though.

i want it more for inhand than ridden but would be used for odd ridden class - think i'm going to wait til go to nxt big show and be measured and get one there.... thanks guys xx
