Hi, Ive got a 2 year old border collie but last year he had a bad experience at the vets (we dont know what happened exactly) but he ended up getting sedated at we were told he was being agressive, although he would never hurt a fly before that day . Now even putting flea treatment on him he gets very paincky and defensive if it looks anything like a needle/surringe. I really want to try another vets now so it is a completely different place that he won't feel threatened at. Please let me know who your local vet is. I'm based in Bury, Lancashire.

i wouldnt take him back there, he needs time to trust you so dont show anything thats remotely like a needle for a while... prehaps visit local vets and see what they have to say
