Smooth Coated Fox Terrier missing from Cannock area since 10th October 2010. This is my 82 year old father's dog and we are desperate to get him back, as we are all devestated. Foxy went missing from the garden, we have posted ads, contacted dog wardens, local council, dog rescues etc, but all to no avail. We have searched everywhere, made radio appeals and done everything we can think of.
He even has his own Facebook group. It is possible that someone picked him up thinking he had been abandoned but they could not be more wrong. If we can find he we can prove ownership. A reward is offered for information leading to his safe return. He could be anywhere by now.
Please have a look at the photos and let me know if you see him. He is very distinctively marked.
Thank you

Oh no!! I really hope your Dads dog is found! Was he microchipped? Even if he wasn`t go to all local vets and see if anyones taken him in for checking...we found an English Bull Terrier last year and the first thing we did after the Bank Holiday was to go to our local vets to see if she was chipped, luckily she was and was re-united with her owner!
Have you got a Facebook page? If so, post this ad` and ask people to share it, that way it will be posted all over the country, we did this for my Sisters dog who went missing a few weeks ago and she is now home- if you don`t have a Facebook page I`m happy to post this for you along with the photo`s, just let me know if you want me to do it...within a few hours of posting about my Sisters dog it had been posted from one end of the country to the other and with your Dads dog being so distinctive it could well help to find him? Good luck xx

Hi
Foxy is microchipped.
We have tried everything, vets, council, dog wardens, rescue centres. Posted notices in the street, in shops, vets, pet stores, supermarkets, local paper. Radio appeal, Facebook. Tried Central TV but they would not cover the story. Tried getting other media to help, emailed Paul Ogrady's Friday show to see if he would put out an appeal had no response.
Registered with dogs Lost, Animal search, K9, alfies lostdogs and numerous other pet search sites and still nothing. Even the offer of a substantial reward has not made any difference.
So if anyone out there has any influence with the media please get intouch, and above all please keep looking. My dad is not in the best of health after his stroke and I need to find Foxy as soon as possible.
Please join his facebook page as this may make a difference.
Thank you
