VETERAN HORSE SOCIETY
This show is a qualifier for VHS 2 Day Open Championship Summer Show at Arena UK on 9th & 10th August 2008, (highest 3 placed members), and also regional final qualification (2 highest placed members) from the relevant classes. In addition is a qualifier to the highest placed horse over 15 years in each of the classes for Driving and WHP, these DO NOT need to be members so go to the highest placed, the rider/driver then has 14 days to join them and the horse, to gain entry to the Summer champs, but NOT regional. The Veteran Horse Society classes are open to both Members & Non-Members of the Veteran Horse Society. Please note that ONLY Veteran Horse Society Members are eligible to compete in the Regional Championship. Qualification cards will ONLY be given to Members with their V. H. BSPA classes are open to skewbald and piebald horses and ponies only. These classes are affiliated to the British Skewbald and Piebald Association and are qualifiers for THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS OF COLOUR National Champion of Champions 2008. To be held at The College EC, Keysoe, Beds. on 23rd - 25th August. All classes will be judged within the rules and criteria of the BSPA. This is a qualifier for the Newmarket TARRA championship to be held on the 16th August 2008 at the July racecourse Newmarket.
Thoroughbreds ONLY. Classes will be judged as a normal standard showing class. It is to be noted that confirmation is not an important issue and neither are scars, or previous injuries but judges decision is final. To be turned out at owners discretion but it is recommended that manes and tails to be tidy. Any suitable bridle.
ABSOLUTE HORSE MAGAZINE ALLROUNDER QUALIFIER
The winners of classes 12 & 13 will qualify for free entry to the Absolute Horse Magazine Allrounder Championship Final, held at
Ipswich Horse Society Show, Trinity Park, Ipswich on 26th July 2008. If the first placed pony/horse has already qualified, qualification can be passed down to no further than 3rd place.
MARRIAGE’S RIDING PONY OF THE YEAR QUALIFIER
For ponies 14.2hh and under, riders 16 years and under. To be judged on suitability for all riding / pony club activities. Will be required to jump. To be ridden in a snaffle bridle. This is a qualifying competition. The first four ponies to go forward to the Suffolk final at the Newton Hall, Nr. Ipswich on Sunday 5th October 2008.
EQUIFEST Equifest is the brand new equestrian extravaganza organised by the East of England Agricultural Society. The event will take place from 15th August to 7th September 2008. NATIONAL PONY SOCIETY - NPS Silver Medal Championship Conditions. These Championships are judged under the Rules of the NPS. NPS Silver Medal Rosettes are only awarded where the Owner of the champion pony is a Member of the NPS. A valid membership card must be in the Rider’s/Handler’s possession on entering the ring and be produced in the ring. If the Owner of the Champion pony is not a Member, or the Owner’s membership card cannot be produced in the ring, the rosette may be awarded to the Reserve Champion provided the Owner is a Member of the NPS and the membership card is produced in the ring. If the Champion pony has previously qualified it is still entitled to the Silver Medal Rosette but the Qualification Card goes to the Reserve Champion pony provided the Owner of that pony is a Member of the NPS. The Silver Medal Rosette and the
Qualification Card can only be awarded to the Champion or ReserveChampion. Qualifiers are entitled to compete in the final of the Silver Medal Championship to be held at the NPS Summer Championship Show 6-8th August 2008, providing they send to the NPS Secretariat the relevant entry fee and qualification card

MARRIAGE’S RIDING PONY OF THE YEAR QUALIFIER

NATIONAL PONY SOCIETY - NPS Silver Medal Championship Conditions. These Championships are judged under the Rules of the NPS. NPS Silver Medal Rosettes are only awarded where the Owner of the champion pony is a Member of the NPS. A valid membership card must be in the Rider’s/Handler’s possession on entering the ring and be produced in the ring. If the Owner of the Champion pony is not a Member, or the Owner’s membership card cannot be produced in the ring, the rosette may be awarded to the Reserve Champion provided the Owner is a Member of the NPS and the membership card is produced in the ring. If the Champion pony has previously qualified it is still entitled to the Silver Medal Rosette but the Qualification Card goes to the Reserve Champion pony provided the Owner of that pony is a Member of the NPS. The Silver Medal Rosette and the
Qualification Card can only be awarded to the Champion or ReserveChampion. Qualifiers are entitled to compete in the final of the Silver Medal Championship to be held at the NPS Summer Championship Show 6-8th August 2008, providing they send to the NPS Secretariat the relevant entry fee and qualification card
