Hi I am looking to buy a new saddle and have seen a new Bates pony Show saddle . I wonder if anybody here has one and what do you think of it ?  |

I've found that the Bates pony saddles are better for the narrower horse/pony, with a narrow back and not just wither - even the pony saddles have quite deep panels and tend to perch on the wider ponies. Definitely not flat enough for really flat natives. Australian design saddles (Bates and Wintec) are modelled on Aussie horse shapes and they tend to be narrow with much TB blood.
