i have just bought a lightwood show cut saddle and would like to know if anyone has had one and also if anyone has so they know if they have numnahs to fit under as the fylde one was not a great fit!
lovely little saddle stamped and badged 'Lightwood Walsall England'
Any ideas?

I don't know Lightwood saddles but I do know they are a treemaker which we use in some Native Pony saddles. Any normal thin quilted numnah, ideally shaped along the topline, would be fine if the saddle fits well. Is it the shape of the numnah that is an issue? Of course they are all slightly different so it can be a nightmare...consider a half pad? They can look very neat with showing saddles but you will need to clean the underside of the sweat flaps frequently.
