My daughter had her first outing in vhs show class this weekend. An Area qualifier no less! Yep, the judge asked them to gallop. Thankfully my child pulled up and looked at me. I said NO. The rules state no galloping. They did their individuals. 3 of the 17 didn't gallop.(my daughter included) They were all but last. After the class I asked the judge about this, " competitors wanted to Gallop" I was told. She said a lot more but I'll be taking that up with the VHS. Why put the rules in if the judge doesn't abide by them? ??

at a show, last season, out of 19 in the class all but 1 galloped in their individual show. in the following class i ended up telling everyone they weren't to gallop. the VHS rules are straight forward and you don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand them! would give Claire a call(VHS showing department), she's a very nice lady and I'm sure she will try her best to help.

As a new member of the Vhs was trying not to cause a stir BUT I feel so strongly I rang the area co-ord who said she's reporting it and asked me to put it in writing. I am going to do that as the same judge is doing our next available qualifier! Don't think I'll waste my money!!!
