I think most people know not to leave dogs in cars on hot days, without ventilation, water... etc... sadly this man probably did know, but perhaps he can't feel the heat of the sun and didnt realise how hot it really was, or how hot it would get in his car.... However, it's not a bad idea to educate people and have posters like these on full view of people... I do admit however to leaving my dog in my car on a warmish day... it was after work (Im a dog walker) she had water (just bought so nice and cold) two windows opened, car in shade, and also left a number on dash board should someone become concerned.... I wasnt away long, though long enough for her to get in trouble with heat had none of the above been available.. someone actually complemented me on everything that was done when I came out of the appointment, and said she seemed quite happy I said I'd rather have taken her home, but traffic deemed that not possible.
