Can I have your opinions on long leather riding boots for showing (county level)? I need to buy my first pair and wondered what everyone uses.
I love the brogini ones but afraid to order as the website doesnt appear to do refunds...
I need quite a wide fitting, size 7
I want good quality but ideally don't want to spend more than £200.00
Thanks in advance for your opinions
ps if anybody has any for sale let me know

I have a pair of Sergio's, I would highly recommend them. They needed hardly any wearing in and from the start have always been very comfortable.
The only thing is they are around £350 but they are more than definatley worth it!

Thanks they look lovely... think I'll have to increase my budget for long boots!
Generally the prices seem to be either £100 or £350+ there's no inbetween!

No agree! But Sergio's I believe really are the best (in my opinion) I guess you do get what you pay for!!

I would recommend that SARM boots, they are not cheap I paid nearly £400 for them 3 years ago, but they didnt need breaking in and have lasted really well

i personally prefer to see the older stlye long boots like the regents old hunting boots these are what i have an dlove them and think they look better than newer boots but thats just my opinion Field and Country antiques have a web site and i believe have some in and what you can do is buy the boots over the phone but if they dont fit you can return them within 7 days provided they are in the same condition they were sent in

i brought a pair of tredstep boots for £199, look beautiful, but are a complete bugger to wear in, but once their worn in they are actually really comfortable
