Could any of you HGs please tell us where to go to get a really nice pair of long showing boots for my daughter. She has long but very slim legs, and has tried on a couple of pairs that are far too wide. Maybe we're looking in the wrong place?

I got mine secondhand from Calcutts. They're gorgeous old school hunting types. They said they'd had them ages but they'd obviously only been worn a handful of times as there was no wear on the sole at all!

i got mine from Brogini, you can put the calf and leg measurments in on the website, and they are very good quality, about £150 new. Measured myself then got lucky and found a pair on here in my measurments second hand!

How skinny are her legs? I'll be selling some extra skinny size 6 leather Shires ones soon second hand (for some reason my legs became too wide in a year? not fair!) I'm a clothes size 6 and my show shirt is age 8 although I'm 21 so I probably fit into the skinny category. I'm wearing them here: I'm at my student accommodation at the moment but will be able to get more pictures when I move home today if you're interested.

They fit very well as i also have long skinny calves! the only problem i have had is the leather lining on the inside of the heel has worn through.

I'm writing you a PM now nannyd If anyone else is interested please drop me a message. They're size 6/39 XS Shires Norfolk long leather boots. I've now moved onto the next size up for my still fairly skinny legs and I think they're fab! I wore them for the first time all day at a show last weekend and had only the smallest of rubs. I would really recommend them.

i recently brought a pair of tredstep boots for £199, i struggled with the problem of finding boots to fit slim legs but the narrow tredstep ones are really good and quite long swell, well worth it
