i have a 2yr old show pony filly i want to show her, i know you put a filly slip on them and a coloured browband but do a need a bit or is that just for older ponies and colts? Also would a i need a longer lead rein for her?

I would think at 2 she could have a nice little in hand bridle on with a nylon bit. I think it is normally only yearlings that have a slip. If you didn't want to put a bit in I don't see the problem with it as she is a filly. A longer lead rein is your choice. If you think you may need it for any reason then get one but it is not a necesity. If I am wrong I'm sure I will be corrected. :-)
