While we are on this subject, can people please NOT collect their dog's poo in a poly bag and leave it hanging on a branch on a common.
Yesssss idiots do do this and
a) it frightens the horses and looks horrible, b) it isnt a very effective use of poly bags and 3) the poo would just break down if left on ground, whereas it hangs around for years stuck on a tree.

I dont take our dog as couldnt give him all he attention he would need ,i know some people have too as no one at home to watch them but we had a big problem last year with two dogs tied to a box on long leash which seemed quite nasty barking and growling when people past made us have to walk much further way round to get to the stables to avoid them not nice and i felt quite uneasy with them ,quite thought less of the owners

I cant stand dog poo, one of the reasons i dont own/ wont have a dog, plus its a terrible hazard, people shouldnt have dogs if they wont clean up after them. We provide pooh bags at our shows just in case you dont have one, should be law all dog owners should carry a pooh bag x
