Hi I'm after a new lycra hood but don't know where to get what I want! I hate buying on the internet as you can't see what you are getting. I'm after one without a strap, so one that pulls over the head but also goes quite far back so it doesn't pop off in the night! Any suggestions would be great it would be to fit a 12hh not chunky sec b. (Or any warnings of rubbish ones). Also somewhere that does rapid delivery would be useful!

I can totally recommend the one that I bought from Derby House. It is not just a hood more like a full on lycra body suit. Fits my 12hh ,zips up the inside of the neck and has a velcro tummy strap. It has never slipped or rubbed my pony...infact i think it even helps to buff his coat in to a lovley shine. Expensive though...around £70 but worth every penny and not too heavy in these hot summer nights .
Hope this helps xx

I swear by the snuggy hood turnout ones, as I've had problems with other cheaper brands slipping and causing ulcers on my lads eye. So I would never buy anything else now, I bought my first one last year and have now bought another 2 for our other horses since. They are more expensive but worth every penny and they usually do offers on them every so often. They do have straps but they don't interfere with the horse and also keep the immaculate since no stable stains can mark the horse or pony plus the plaits stay perfect :-)
