OH has just got me a green house to grow more from seed he just looked at the bank statement and found out how much I spend on plants, I was very nearly pushing up daisies, was not quiet convinced that they were for his benefit The goose in the middle of the three is Charles and nearest to the camarer is Camila and the two furthest away are Dizzy and Dozey so yep overatdaknee I'm a right soppy sod

MM we had to hide the Axe from mother in law so Christmas dinner did not end up on the plate but we made it up to her by updating her broom stick to a Dyson upright You've got to have a bit of bling all year round armada

Oooh does she have long black hair and teeth to match?
My MIL is lovely, really round and jolly, the kids call her Bouncy Mamma! She's one of those people who can just break a twig off something and stick it in a pot of soil and it will grow for her, she has a lovely garden, lots of bird feeders and stuff.
Afraid my best effort is to hack bits of the passion flower that's pulling my fence down, and to pick the cat poo off the lawn before OH mows it! (I haven't got a cat, neighbours have 17 between them!)

its just a hour every evening just dead heading and watering the hardest part is the planting that can take all day, the front of the yard has blue and pink granite chips set in the cement and the colour scheme it the planting reflects this and then I just through some whit flowers in to add a bit of drama, I just wish that you could smell the perfume as I use a lot of heavily scented plants, which blows through the stables, bit of a bugger if you have hay fever

Phlox. Think that's how you spell it. Neighbour gave us some for a border and they smell really nice. Or lavender, it's really low maintenance!

One of the reasons we have the yard full of plants is that it is part of the garden and when we designed the yard it was with the intention that the yard became integral to the garden, we also spend so much time outside that it's nice to sit and entertain guests out side in the yard the real secret is getting plants that basically look after themselves all you have to do is chuck a bit of water on them and away they go, as for the time we have lots of labour saving machines such as a ex-council road sweeper so ten minuets all the yard is swept, we don't have a dung heap that is put straight into a trailer and is taken away so don't have that to keep tidy, OH has put in a shower & grooming room for the horses and for Christmas has promised me a new solarium so I can dry the horses quicker after they are bathed, plus their is two of us here all day, we also have young people who have had a few problems at school and they come for the day and learn about stable management and also build a little self-worth and communication skills before they go on to collage or to work placements. OH said you can't borrow me skint you can have me for keeps so that he can have a rest.
