Well my Rottweiler has sore eyes they are fed and he is like squinting and they'r very sore! I have not got the money to be able to afford vets bills! Zeus lives in the hallway at the side of the house, and down the hall way is an office...my dad was smoking all day in there on Saturday (URGGGHHHHH!!! ) and since then the dogs eyes have been sore...I don't know if it's because of the smoke or because rotties are prone to 'turning in eye lids'. If someone could PLEASE help me! Anything I can do? Creams, drops? anything that helps!? Thanks. PS if anyone needs pics I can get some! ;D

You MUST take the dog to the vet. It could have an ulcer on the eyeball which will be extremely painful and wont clear up with out antibiotic drops

We'r not on benefits or anything, we just don't have £600 for an op, ill have to get a friend, who's a vet, to look at him this week and see what she says if i have to take him in, poor lad feel so bad for him! but some times they open and look fine....which makes me wonder maybe the smoke just stung them. But i'll take him to see a vet. x

How do you know he needs an op? The longer you leave it then the more expensive it will be. My Boxer was in the vets on Friday as she has an ulcer on her eye ball. A consultation and a tube of cream cost £36 and her eye is clearing up

Eyes are so precious, and sight can easily be impaired or lost, as well as being very painful. Do please take you dog along to see a vet.
