Some advice needed please. What are the requirements in equitation classes, is there a set routine in your individual show. My daughter is 9 yrs old and we have entered the beginners and 12 yrs and under equitation classes, just wondered if she needed to do her first ridden show with the addition of extended trot across the diagonal and a extension in canter. Any advice would be gratefully received.

Beginners equitation should normally just walk and trot on the go round and then they come out and do their own show. Never known a judge to ask beginners for extentions, they just tend to do their own shows to ie, figure of 8 in trot and a figure of 8 in canter, bit of sitting trot.... Hope this helps! :-)
