;)i wonder if anyone can offer me a bit of advice please, i have started showing with my 6 year old daughter this year in lead rein classes, i am unsure what is the best to do when it comes to an individual show, i dont want to just copy everyone else but dont want it to be to short or to long !!! any tips please ??

walk away from the judge and thenliterally trot a figure of eight, come bk to walk and salute the judge, some judges will ask you for specific things but as a general rule your just looking to do a small show with lead rein ponies to show that they will keep a steady even pace for a child, hope this helps

At the change of rein we used to come back to walk, walk six paces then trot again, impresses judge that it's different and pony is attentive

Best thing to do is to watch the professionals. They know how to do it.
