Hi, wondering if anyone can help? I have a 17'' Fylde Ray saddle in an extra wide fit and am struggling to find a numnah that fits it well. I am looking for something thats thicker than the usual cotton quilt. Saddle is used on a 15hh traditional cob, she doesn't have much wither. All numnahs I have tried in past are either too big as its a compact saddle or they slip. Would be great if anyone can help! Thank you!

Sorry to jump in on your thread gypsycobsrule, but I have a similar problem and have the same saddle as you, as a lot of people recommend the courtlea numnahs, and I have looked at them at shows, I was wondering if apart from not slipping out from underneath the saddle, do they also help stop saddle movement at all?

Sheepskin is unlikely to improve stability issues as it has movement in it, in the pile. It might help occasionally but an expensive experiement....not to say I don't like sheepskin, I do, and the Courtlea numnahs are great value, but they are not a fix for many things.
