class cost us £18 then first aid £3 you only had to have 5 in class to get 2nd prize money (as stated in schedule) there were 9 and one was a late entry so propably paid more because it had a really high exhibitor number
we got 2nd- no prize money
have i gone wrong somewhere
same happen to my friend in whp class- 3rd wasn't paid out to 12 entries- plus an extra 4 late entries
she queried it and they said there wasn't enough in class when it states in schedule 3rd would be paid out to 7 entries

that sounds odd? maybe your money/cheque will be in the post, as most shows do that these days just wait & see

Derby goes on catalogued entrants and is sent out after the day ( far to busy to do it on the day, and the security issue of having several thousand pounds lying around is not good !!!! PLus with a cheque we have the proof it has come to you.

if classes are sponsored, like many are at the bigger shows, then why hold prize money back in the first place? the sponsorship money is already in the pot so why should it matter how many entries there are, as the entry fee isnt needed to cover this. i have never agreed with prize money being withheld and never will do. we sponsor quite afew shows and i wouldnt be happy if our money wasnt being given to the rightfull winners.

IN reply to this I would state that as per the catalogue prize money should have been paid out as per the rules and I sure if you contact the secretary things can be sorted
