Riding through the wood yesterday evening with a friends daughter, chatting away as you do she asked how old was I when I got my 1st pony  5 says me, he was a Exmoor gelding called Coco, dad bought him from a family who were keeping him in the coal shed  How long ago was that said child then asks.........  Errr quick calculation........ shock.......... 41 years ago I reply Then thinking about it more I've had 27 ponies of all shapes & sizes & breeds over the years & have had Highlands for over 20 now |

The thing is time seems to go even quicker the older you are, when you are a child birthdays and christmas seem to take ages to come, now we are no sooner packing the decs away, then its time to start finding them out again, it brought it home to me when I realised that one of our horses is twenty and she was seven months old when we bought her, where have the years gone,

I don't actually feel any different now than I have for years Luke3 it was my 30th I dreaded more than the 40th  And at least I've still got all my own teeth & hair ;D ;D |

LOL I had the dreaded 40th last year but I must say things have only got better since ;D ;D And I've still got my teeth & hair albeit brown not grey thanks to nice & easy |

LOL my hair is thanks to nice & easy too ;D I had the big 40 a couple of years ago, its just a number, having more fun than ever now ;D ;D Oh & still got my teeth , I've a bit of a obsession about dental care ;D don't want to end up like my granny with plastic ones if I can help it |
