Hi All,
Last year I attended in a lorry so we mainly cooked our own food. This year my partner and I are tenting it, I did see there was a resturant and some burger vans on site but what does everyone usually do for dinner ect?
I was thinking about buying some throw away BBQ but I have no idea how we are going to keep the food chilled through the days.
Any idea's?

Are BBQs allowed on the site? I don't know but am aware lots of "venues" specifically prohibit them. Maybe worth checking before you go?

I have a little gas stove, will be cooking some things, freezing them and putting in a cool box to slowly de-frost, that will do us the first two days. Then things like pasta and sauce, risotto etc that don't need to be kept cool and can be cooked on a gas hob in one big pan. It's all about being a bit creative!

Don't think so - but we would have eaten quite early cos then the girls would only have been 5 and 3 - probably about 6pm.

When we go camping we take things like curry sauces and then buy boil in the bag rice as it's easier to cook. Can feed 4 of us a meal on a 2 ring camping stove Chilli is another good one to make and sweet and sour chicken with noodles

The food in the restaurant is good but we always found that after evening performance no food as all the burger vans etc were closed by about 9pm
