I'm sure that the animals know when to come lame and when not too! It's the 1st week of the summer hols and the pony is on a week at least solid box rest. It's 3 weeks and 1 days until we set off to equifest and at the moment we only have 3 legs!!! I'm sure they know!!! Little girl has been so looking forward to spending the summer with the boy!!! Pleeeeeease come sound Danny boy!!! I'll give you extra carrots and everything!!!! Fingers crossed peeps he's had a mad do in the field and it's nothing that wont fix quickly!!!

know how you feel.. my mare who has the most scarred and battered legs but has never had a proper days lameness decided to go lame before Uk showing. My friends mare is also very hardy, but has recently got mystery lameness, and has 3 weeks box rest- no Equifest for her xxx

Oh no Barclybob, we are in exactly the same boat our little LR M & M that my 8yr old has been working so hard with, is now on box rest, gone lame, no chance of going to Equifest and it's her last year on LR, so we wanted to have a go, before we hit the first riddens. We are gutted, daughter keeps having a cry. Trying to see if we can go with her sisters SP but do LRSHP classes instead(daughter out of class in LR SP), it's not a SHP, but what the heck, we'll enjoy it anyway.........keeping fingers crossed for ourselves and everyone else......

Thanks everybody! We have a sound pony now!!! 2 weeks box rest seems to have fixed him plus a MAHOOSIVE vet bill oh the joy! She has been on him a couple of times but canter is proving to be a problem! it's all a little exciting for him :-) anyway, at least we can go which is the main thing and a friend of ours (EP) has let her do a class on her darty which is BRILL! All is well for now!........ 7 sleeps to go!!!!! :-)

Thanks barclaybob she is fine for the LR but does not want to do the FR. She was going really good and now we have taken 20 steps back again. Went to a show on Sunday and she just sat and cried in the first ridden.
We have entered the FR but I think the way she is at the moment it will just frighten her with so many other ponies in the ring. Maybe aim for next year, so may need your jockey!

I'll PM you my number and then you can let me know! :-) xx
