Penny, we've spoken to the person concerned and can assure you that they feel Nigel will do all he can to help improve the measurement situation. Nothing scandalous at all was intended as they realise that coming second in the class would have put anyone in the same position. In ome ways we are very fortunate it was someone in a position to work on what happened. Surely you agree that something needs to be done quickly to stop people who have the funds to ruin competiton. We all want to see the best ponies at Hickstead and at HOYS and we also know that many - especially the producers - have been lucky in the past and got away with not having animals objected to. The suggested set date for annual consideration of measurement objection looks to be a practical and sensible idea.

If you know Penny, then you could have done this by email/phone/in person. Please keep this section for results and not anything else. Any more posts off topic will simply be deleted and not just locked.
