Mums gone to do the horses so I thought that now we have our own section I would post a thread. I cant go down the yard at the monemt as I have a poorly ear I have been taken to that vet man, and he has poked around in it, he stuck me with needles and the gave my mummy some drops to put in. Mummy says that its because I am always down hole, or digging holes, but what else is a Jack russell surposed to do!!! It still hurts a bit but I must say I like the drops, they are cold and them mummy rubs my ear, lovely. do any of you get poorly ears? Not going to the yard does have some good points, I get to eat all the cat munchies, and chase the new kitten that mummy got me, and if I am really luckey she forgets to shut the bedroom door so I can sleep on the bed. wonder what other web sites there are in her favorites!!!! Love Joules xxxxxxxxx

I've had a poorly ear too, but it did get better quickly! I'm banned from going to the yard much cos I bark at the other dogs a lot, but am still allowed to be a lorry terrierist at the weekends Mollyxx

Luckily my ears are ok but my house friend Jono (springer spaniel) gets smelly ears from getting them dirty and wet. I love going to the yard with my mummy but she has had to put stock / chicken wire around the fences to stop me escaping and going walking with people that go past.

Do you know, it's funny but my ears sometimes forget to work properly as well! My mum calls it 'Throwing a Deaf'un', it happens a lot when I go on the beach!

Hi Tim we too are escape artists and our mum & dad have also put chicken wire round the bottom of the fences as we escape and go for walkies on our own, a big adventure although we know we are in trouble when we hear m & d shouting us Joules hope your ears get better soon - we have the same problem at least twice a year - each!!!! Harvey ' Houdini ' The Black C*ocker Spaniel & Jenson ' Buttons ' The Liver & White Springer Spaniel ( See us on pics post ) PS Both my dogs are full pedigree and have both got proven family track records and we are thinking of maybe looking for a nice b**ch for the Springer if any one knows of one or has any ideas?? Thanks

WHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY been to the yard today, checked everything over, some good new smells, there is a hole in the fence and mum has put a little board over it, mubbled something about 'idiot brain next door' (wonder what that is) had a good look anyway, must make a mental note to check the things with feathers that live the other side of the fence through the hole. We must all have the same hearing!!! mummy says that I must be a german dog as I dont unsterstand english, silly mummy, she knows where I came from she bought me. JoulesX
