Some huge entries in some of the classes!
Cant believe how low the entries are for M&M leadrein & especially the first ridden classes. These are normally huge classes!

The m&m lead rein and first ridden classes aren't as big as they normally are because they have all been split - lead rein welsh A, lead rein welsh B and lead rein small breeds, same with the first ridden, think it's because they were huge in previous years.
Can't believe the concours class on the first night - 104 entries!!

Coloured classes for natives especially are huge, I have qualified both Farra Clydesale and Stinky cob, but the judge is not the best for me, so I have left them.
Not bad for the heavy horse classes, 7 in the ridden and 4 in the inhand ones so Farra should come home with a rosette ;D
I am hoping that they will run at the times stated as I am also doing BSPA classes on Saturday with Farra and Stinky and can see me ending up having the kids running up and down checking the classes for me during the day.
Good luck to all those going.

some of the classes have fewer than previous years, I know more can enter but some of the hunter classes had a lot more in them last year

All our classes are double figures and some of the a/b CLASSES are 40 and haven'tbeen split or stopped entries!! I think the timetable will be seriously affected with classes of 30 to 40! Looks like it will be a very busy show - great entries all round.

qbc - coloureds are HUGE indeed - I'm only doing inhand but not sure how I'm gonna keep my boy awake through that. Will hopefully see you in some of the BSPA classes though - shame they don't publish class numbers as agree that their timetable is a bit vague!!
