Continuing on this from the thread in the lounge-this doesn't show up in a dope test this is why it is used-it has the same effects as ACP, ie unable to control the sheath area, dopey look and quiet. I have sadly witness a doped horse on two occasions leave a showground promptly when an objection was raised to test the horse....surely this is cause for concern and possible banning from showing. I'd like to think that a rosette isn't more important than your horses long term health and not to mention DOPING IS DANGEROUS, THEY CANNOT FUNCTION PROPERLY....Any Judge placing a doped horse or a horse they think could be doped is highly irresponsible.

i totally agree with the fact that this is dangerous to both horse and rider/handler, for a horse to behave like it does when doped this stuff must be stronge stuff and when co ordination etc is effected one of these animals has only got to trip , and under the influence will not be able to keep themselves on all four legs, this could then result in severe injury to the animal as well as rider/handler and anybody close by!! does anyone really want a rosette or think so little of there animal that they would let this happen !!! shame on you if you would !!!

Could you continue this discussion in the lounge area please? I will lock this thread as it gets confusing when there are two running at once.
