I've voted Blue Chip (lami lite) as I use it on my old boy who has terrible feet. I've tried just about every hoof supplement on the market and the lami lite has given us the best improvement and agreed by my farrier. I've also used it with EMS and cushings ponies and it was fab. However, I also use Top Spec Lite balancer on a section A and a section B pony with fab results. If I was feeling very brave, I'd switch my old boy onto the top spec too, but I daren't in case his feet deteriorate and it takes too long to see improvements in hoof quality.

Too many balancers are too high in starch, and makers don't list it in the nutritional breakdown. I like Top Spec for the less good doers, Baileys Lo Cal for air ferns. Winergy Equilibrium Growth seems to have a good reputation and is fairly low starch. Blue Chip and Equilibra are way high.
