Sorry I missed introducing myself. I am a breeder and vet in Northern Germany and came across HG via the saddlesoap forum where I've been mostly a lurker for I'm obsessed with Welsh ponies and the British horse scene in general. In my show days I've been doing dressage, jumping and eventing, nowadays I no longer show under saddle but keep training horses whenever I find the time. I started marketing horses internationally during my vet school years and have held on to the business ever since. Our farm then evolved into a 40ha livery studfarm with the vet business adjecent to it. Love this board from all I can tell within my first few days and I'm hoping for happy chats. If you want to learn more about my operation and horses feel free to visit our website at www.germanhorseconnection.com

Danke, mein Englisch ist dafür sehr amerikanisch (thank you my English is very American) *lol* My best Welshie so far came from Doylan Stud and is named Doylan Magic Rose. I bought her as a yearling at the 2007 sale along with 4 others. Those ponies have all done very well for me. Doylan Chantilly Lace came over with a WPB filly foal at foot who is now living in Hessen and matured to a lovely 1,42 pony. Her dam was resold to the Rhineland area and became a Verbandspremium mare there (very rarely given to imported stock of whatever breed) and Doylan Pussing Boots is still with us and will stay. He was 2 when we got him and a little jumpy at first (as is to be expected when you are a 2yo boy coming in from the field). Today he is working about 3-4 times a week both under saddle and in harness (seldom find the time to drive though). You can find a public album of all our Ponies on my Facebook page here: www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.392706984580.174388.237648984580&type=1 We don't show a lot but maybe once or twice a year. Had good luck at the Northern German Welshpony Show in Luhmühlen where Skellorn Blanc de Blancs was first in his class and the kids made 2nd and 3rd in leading rein aboard Doylan Pussing Boots (called Balou) and Gigman Bedazzled. Grüezi to Lancs!
