Would love to have gone, but its month end day @ work - not a cat in hells chance of getting day off !!
Went when it was Yorkshire Showground - even bought a lovely yearling filly - that was 13yrs ago, still got her (Seabeech Jesse), bred us some lovely foals :-)

I was going to enter my two Exmoor colts till I found out it was £90 each to enter. Put that on with the cost of fuel and it was not worth it. How can they ask so much to put them in the sale.

you do get £25 refund if they sell so in reality its £65 -

Has anyone had a catalogue for this sale yet? A bit surprised that it is 2 weeks tom orrow and we havent even had a catalogue yet??

I'm planning on going - have managed to persuade my mother to come, by inviting her for a "nice day out" and then shortly followed by "well, we might as well take the lorry, as it costs much the same in diesel and we can make a proper cup of tea". (Some things never change - we are both old enough to know better than to take a lorry to anywhere selling horses!!)
Hoping the catalogue will arrive soon to fire her up as she's starting to doubt my motives!
As its a combination of the "Festival of the horse sale" and the BCPS sale, Mum will be interested in the connies, and I'll be looking out for a nice leg at each corner horse to hunt and sell on.
