I found this board by accident (I was Googling Gem's Signet) & I'm hooked. I used to live in Essex & hunted with the Essex Farmers as a child. I kept horses right up until my second marriage when #2 husband insisted I helped run his pub instead I now live on the glorious West coast of Scotland. A horseless, chubby, 50+ with a bag of faded rosettes, a few photos & so many happy memories. Thank you for reading!!!

Hi lils, thanks for the welcome!
I often wondered how many offspring he produced, am I right in thinking he was gelded to be shown in ridden pony classes?
It's fascinating to see how bloodlines have continued, it would be brilliant to see a phographic pedigree & see how much a particular stallion contibuted to the 'typiness' of his descendants.
Didn't someone threaten to kill him if his owner didn't stop showing him? Or am I wrong?

Gosh and we think showing is bad now!! i believe once he was gelded he did exceptionally well, il post a pic of his Grandaughter this week, she is by Wingrove Minkino out of Holly of Spring

Hello Pony People, I'm here because I was told from customers that a lot of people dont know where to get rubber matting in Scotland. I'm the agent for Quattro and live in Dunfermline. See the Quattro website and I can visit if you need help.
