Bay seems to be the most popular pony colour in the showpony rings, What about chestnuts, greys, blacks, roans, coloureds etc Bay is safe, clean and can get a good shine  But thinking of getting a grey sometime! |

I like blacks and bays preferably with little or no white markings. One of my favourite show ponies of all time was the roan mare Gunnerby Aarlborg Elegant an absolutely stunning pony

Bay seems to be the colour to have so i'd rather have something different. Is there a rule book to say they have to have no white and be brown??

Love the darker bay roans, and am also a fan of the pitch blacks! Would love to see a grey pony with darker/black mane and black points |

Any colour providing its within the correct type, admittadly coloureds can be harder to assess from a distance as marking can make things appear different frm a distance, Dun is attractive and i like Chestnuts with white socks but wouldnt put a pony up on colour alone x

I think as long as it's the correct type for show pony any colour really! Although black looks so elegant, as does dark bay, but also love chestnuts & a good palomino can stand out! |

Anything that stands out I've a beautiful brown show pony with black points who I wouldnt swap but I'd love to see a nice roan or something with 4 small neat white socks! |
