Out of a riding horse / event mare
By Outstanding Dressage / Sports pony, Bernwode Brokat. www.bernwodestud.com/st_brokat.htm In 2009 and 2010 Brokat was acknowledged as Leading Sire of Sports ponies in the BEF Futurity Evaluations. In 2011, Brokat ranked 17th on the overall BEF Sire list, the only pony sire to achieve a top 20 placing. As a result, Brokat was once again acknowledged as Leading Sire of Sports ponies in the BEF Futurity Evaluations, this time based on his top 5 progeny scores
Brokat's older offspring are also showing their talent and trainability in the show ring and increasingly under saddle. Brokat's progeny are also showing an enormous, athletic jump, his 2011 colt foal, Bolero, being overall Champion Event Pony at the Futurity Evaluations achieving Elite status and qualifying for the finals at Osberton
This filly has taken on many of the attributes of her sire as well as having his lovely temperament, manners and is good to do in every way
