Thats showing for you full of highs and lows. Enjoy the glory on the day you are winning but always be prepared to fall another day. Every Judge has his/her opinions about the ponies/horses before them. Its strange how SP/SHP judging is alot more consistent though? Isn't it...  |

Just seen this thread. The pony you are referring to is ours. She went very well but just wasn't the judges type on this occasion. She certainly wasn't tired. This was one of our local shows and she always goes well on a surface and a big ring. She won her ticket at her breed show and finished reserve supreme of the show. (Her first time out since 3 counties) There were other ponies down the line who had also qualified for HOYS. Different judges, different opinions. Thats how it goes. Not a problem, no reflection on the pony, just cross them of the list and look forward to the next show. <<<takes my hat to you>>> What a lovely attitude you have, my son used to shrug his shoulders and say "different judge, different day" I enjoy my showing, but dont expect to win all the time I am just happy he is the one I am taking home that night. There are other horses I think are better than my boy .. far better .. but I wouldn't swap him for the world. |

Sorry deejay for earlier post i asumend it was the guests pony and they were throwing their toys out of the pram!!!! So your opinion can change just because you know the person who owns the pony!  And I adore you attitude about guest's how reassuring to know your responses will depend on whom you are relating to! Are you a judge by any chance?  |
