Nerves can be that bad and worse. Your body reacts even though your mind is telling you its stupid, so frustrating.
So FEEL THE FEAR AND RIDE ANYWAY. This is important because the more you ride and experience your fear, the less your body will react until eventually it doesn't bother with the adrenalin because it realises nothing is actually going to threaten you in this situation.
So look forward to experiencing that fear, knowing that each time you do, you are closer to conquering it.
Does that sound stupid?

Gin. Or a ciggie? (Just joking) Fear of a thing is usually worse than the thing itself. Do breathing exercises, recite poetry, sing - whatever. I'd say pretty much everybody gets some degree of ring nerves, some just manage not to show it. It should get much easier as time goes on. You ARE doing this for fun, remember!!
