Hi everybody im not used to this but decided to join as I need valuable advice from people of the horsey world, my names sahara and me and an associate having been training breaking and sorting problem horses for years as a hobby sort of on the side but we have now decided that we may like to progress this into a business and would like any advice at all that anyone could give? things that i may have overlooked or anyone who has made there own business from the ground how did you do it? or any sites that may be useful for advice? all advice really appreciated

I started my own buisness about 3 months agoo.. It takes time to get the ball rolling. There is classes you can go to which give you advice on how to start your own buisness. if you type it in google. im sure youll find something. i got some business cards made on VISTAPRINT! just hand them into local tack shops, riding schools ect. Once your name is out there, youll get more reconisized! Hope this helps.

Dont think so, you obv need insurance too cover yourself

yeah I have my own insurance but when buying and selling horses as this will be one part the company is there any regulations etc i should be looking into?

I think it depends on the amount of horses/ponies that you selll through the year to class as a dealer, and where you are keeping the horses as you will probably have to pay business rates. They are not cheap...but go to business link as jessica said, good site.
