Brook was taken from our garden in Bay Horse, Lancaster on the 16th April.
We are terribly worried about him and desperatley want him home where he belongs.
Brook came to live with us when he was just a few weeks old. Not only was he a birthday surprise for me, but the first time I met him he had an engagement ring tied around his neck! This makes him even more special to Aubrey and myself.
He spends his days with his Dad sat in the tractor and exploring the countryside, and when at home he is either walking the canal or lounging on the sofa.
He has always had a lovely life with us,and we dread to think what life is like for him now…he will be missing home so badly!
He has spent the odd night in kennels, but he barks so much that when he comes home he has lost his bark….he can’t bear not to be with Aubrey.
Brook will be fretting and so unhappy, we really do need to FIND BROOK.
Please can everyone keep a look out for our very special chocolate boy x

Completely understand how you feel!! We had our lurcher stolen in January.... We were and still are heartbroken! It's a terrible thing to have happen to you and I hope we are both reunited with our dogs soon xxx |

Have you tried a find Brook page on facebook - I know a few people in my area have done this with their horses and two have been found.

I so hope you find Brook. Is he micro chipped? A friend once lost her dog and he turned up a year later at Battersea dogs home due to him being micro chipped. Good luck and fingers crossed you are reunited x

Phone your local dog warden, police station,vets,rspca centers, rescues and kennels, I work in a boarding kennels and when people find dogs the often bring them to us.
A friends golden lab was stolen we put it on fb and he was found safe and sound a few hours later.
Also if he is micro chipped dont forget to get in touch with them and they will place him on the missing dog register.
I'm so sorry he is missing and hope you find him safe and well soon.

Have you put him on / and searched at www.doglost.co.uk I gather this is the canine version of the stolen horse register. Fingers crossed you find him, can't imagine what you are going through. Good luck x |

Any news, one of mine turned up last month after having been stolen 5 years ago so there is hope. Also have you tried a medium, one i used said the Gipsies had stolen him and guess where he turned up, gipsy site in Cardiff, 60 miles from me.

My dog was stolen and it took me 9 months to get her back - found running out of a traveller camp in London. dont give up.

its difficult even using binoculars when looking at the gypsy camps. The one my dog was at they had a deep hole in the ground with a chain around her nech. A car was driven over the hole and the chain looped through its chasis so the dog could get out and couldnt be seen..........she was a right mess when she came back but is OK now and grateful for any kind word.
