Why do people put an advert on selling a pony, and then dont come back on here or reply to your messages. leave a phone no or a name please

I've just put a comment to this effect in another thread about timewasters .... do they want to sell or not? Promise photos emailed and you never hear again. Must stress, not just here, but other sites and places too. It's no wonder the purchasers have run out of enthusiasm for replying to unsuitable ads to say thanks but no thanks, after having to fight to get the information from many in the first place!

I replied to everyone that messaged me when I was selling my pony, even when someone had been and said they wanted him I still messaged people and said he was provisionally sold but if it fell through I would contact them. So we are not all bad but it is very very wrong and if people haven't got regular internet they should put that on the add as I did and give a phone number to contact.

It's the same when replying to wanted ads. It would be so easy for people to just say thanks but no thanks but obviously manners are a thing of the past for some.

Ive sent 4 messages now and each one has been opend so i know they are getting them. Could do with a ruling that you have to leave a contact no perhaps that may stop time wasters
