Well done to all who did well in their classes today.
HOWEVER... any chance you can keep all the personal congratulations to a separate thread? This one is quickly turning into another Aimee (&^%$ Appreciation Society, and it'd be nice to hear about other results too.

It is nothing personal against Aimee, I don't know the girl, I wouldn't even recognise her if I was behind her in Tesco. And of course it is a fabulous achievement, The Judge is a cracker and no doubt there was strong competition for the ticket. But why the need for the constant congratulations? Why not just say it once and be done with it? In a matter of hours threads have turned from discussion over the classes themselves into flag-waving for a bare handful of individuals.

You've chosen not to post on the northern thread though about charlene & anthea .... you obviously dont have a problem with those personal congratulations?

I don't want to see the forum turn into a personal fan club either, but it is obviously nice to see one of our members qualifying when she has come so close all season, so I think your comments are rather uncalled for. If you don't like all the congratulations (and we do check the ISPs to make sure it's not the same person!) then don't read them!

Well done Aimee, Mary & Judge. well deserved - he looks absolutely fab. Other results: Sam Roberts was Res Ch in Olympia championship with a Palomino Sec B (sorry dont know its name). Smalls section was won by a chestnut Sec A. Picton D class was won by a nice black cob, and a big chestnut (about 16hh !!) in 2nd. 3rd place (and qualifier) was Carla with a bay cob. Sorry for lack of names - but that might make some sense and be of interest to people I took my cob gelding and unfortunately was *just* too late into the Picton class (as I found out only at the end), so ended up "bottom" of the line and the judge then informed me at the end that it was because I was late and therefore she could not place me. She didnt half rattle through them - was calling the next one out before the last one was even half way through their show. But we then did PUK Novice class, and he was v respectable 3rd. And most importantly much better behaved than last time out. Growing up at last (fingers crossed). It was very wet and soggy !! 2 more shows next weekend ....... must be mad. Lets hope for some sunshine in the South East next weekend . Lexy.
