Still waiting for a turnout onesie that was ordered and paid for on the 7th March. Beginning to worry now

Bought a beautiful hood a couple of weeks before that came in a reasonable amount of time. Paid by Paypal so I should get my money back if the onesie doesn't turn up.

Friend ordered from Them and despite being messed around and ending up with not the product he ordered, he is very pleased. I on the other hand, wouldn't touch them with someone else's barge pole. Shame.

Leevale don't leave it too long else I think paypal won't help? Not sure of the time scale? It's 45 days, lol, and we're on day 29. Rug was promised by last Wednesday, still not here, I don't intend to wait too much longer, although I would really like the rug

I thought the same but then bit the bullet and ordered a one of a kind hood for my big lad. From being material to delivery it was 5 days - I was so shocked but it is excellent quality.

For anyone looking for onesies, I bought one from Equi Threads on Facebook. Just as nice as the Shwmae product (friend on yard has one of theirs) and the lady who makes them under the Equi Threads banner kept in contact with me throughout production. It was also less than half the price After this pic was taken, it was sent back to have a little bit extra material added to the front legs as they were a bit neat and it now fits really well. I didn't buy into them at first either but my mare is a dirty madam and this is preventing us having to practically re-bath her on the morning of a show. She loves it - nickered when I took it out the bag last time. If she wasn't happy wearing it, then I wouldn't use it, but she's fine with it and it doesn't restrict her movement in any way.

I know what you mean our coloured sometimes has to have all 4 white legs washed again on the morning of a show. Maybe I should treat him to one

Better than some of the scrap that's churned out in the same market! Nice seams with big enough eye holes. Horse isn't going to be doing acrobatics so don't see how it could be dangerous?

I don't agree either. I think some of their earlier stuff was a bit shoddy - the set I got a couple of years ago was really thin and shrunk badly the first time it was washed, but the onesie that the girl on our yard has is decent quality. It's their customer service that lets them down unfortunately. Girl on our yard paid for 48 hours delivery and eventually got item about 4 weeks after it was ordered (and a lot of complaining) and is still waiting on her postage being refunded as per their terms and conditions.

I've never ordered from them but know folk that have and the problems they've suffered. Out of interest I read their terms and conditions and it is extensive to say the least, virtually have covered every possible 'problem' to get out of refunding/sending goods on time/issue with fit or colour, any possible scenario. Read before committing to buy! Don't think I would

Ours is too dangerous to use. I have a Dartmoor 12h, had spoken to them about my requirements before purchasing. The onsie came 7 weeks after purchase and it was fantastic however the ears were around 5' long, pony was found with the hood slipped right over his eyes so he couldn't see because of this.
Have not used it since and still have not received my cost of postage back.

I've seen stitching undo with 24hrs use, legs pulled off within hours, loose thread around the eyes. That's a very brief list from their more recent makes.
There are far better safety & business savvy companies out there....

I have the ultimate onesie with hood and they have to be used together, the hood slips on its own and the rug would rub the mane a little without the hood - together tho its priceless on a white pony who is part hippo, we can bath a day in advance if needed and still have a bright white pony, no morning yellow stains anymore.

The last few posts are confirmation that I did the right thing by buying elsewhere then. Glad the girl on our yard got a decent one - maybe it depends who was sewing them up but erratic quality isn't good either.

I think they did employ a 'seamstress' for a while which could explain why some people received a product of a better quality than others.

I was originally tempted but I have read too many horror stories. My friend ordered one with quick delivery and 4 weeks later is still waiting! It doesn't matter how good a quality the item is, if it doesn't arrive before the show, its useless! I think there customer service is appalling, being polite costs nothing!
