johnathan and his pony went lovely in both the class and the championship. stunning pony. went really well as the ground was slippy and muddy in places. johnathan was lovely had a smile on his face, i must say he was very polite as not many riders seem to acknoledge the stewards

And also really pleased to see Llanarth Welsh Dragon doing well in the D's, saw him at Northleach and really liked him.

how many entries were there? was the show well attended given the history and they certainly seem to attract the worst weather? 0

People are starting to vote with their feet. Maybe it is time one of the other showing societies took over the Olympias as the NPS has just about ruined them.

People are starting to vote with their feet. Maybe it is time one of the other showing societies took over the Olympias as the NPS has just about ruined them. As the NPS dreamed up the concept, started and manages the "Olympia" qualifiers and final, I don't quite see where you're coming from - please explain! I think one of the problems with the Lancs show must have been the 'its on - it's off - it's on' scenario. I know for a fact that, due to this and the woolly organisation, they had difficulty in getting judges at short notice and even rang at least one same person twice! (who, due to prior appointments, said 'no' twice - !!) That cannot be the fault of the competition's organising body!

(who, due to prior appointments, said 'no' twice - !!) That cannot be the fault of the competition's organising body! I am surprised you need it explaining to you, but here goes anyway. At the end of the day the NPS don’t run the 4-5 days whatever it is at Olympia. They have a slot. That slot is kindly sponsored by Baileys Horse Feeds. That being the case the NPS don’t have any rights over it other than the agreement with Baileys and the show organisers. I am very surprised that a company with such an outstanding reputation as Baileys would want to associate its good name with a society that struggles to get a handful of competitors to compete in what should be the most prestigious M&M class in the country. Maybe Baileys don’t know what they are actually putting their name to? Maybe its time people wrote to Baileys to tell them?
