I've just been told that entries are lower than they have been for years in some of the classes! Is that correct?

Intermediate Section D's has not happened yet, likely to be in about 1hrs time (last one of these classes). Picton championship about to happen. They split the smalls and the Welsh A's were seprerate. that was won by a chesnut Sec A but not sure what it was called, just saw in passing. The photographer is Equinational (I think). I have also been taking quite a lot of photos and will be putting them up either tomorrow or Friday in album and will post link on here for people to browse Lulu - plenty of entries in classes I have seen. Some people have been forced not to come because of virus going around from RW though so that will affect some entries too. But in general busy busy show ! Laptop battery dying !! Will turn off now and post some more results later. Lexy

We are about thirty miles away and it is thundering on and off and heavy rain. We are in at 8am in the morning (LR WHP). Hoping there won't be toto much rain for my daughter who has to do the running. Rumour hd it there were about fifty in this class does anyone know if that's true?

Int course yesterday was pathetic really small and NO WATER think the course builder must have thought it was a premier league class carrying on from the premier league classes in 13 14 and 15h was a much better course today why o why was there not a water tray yesterday

Totally agree - the intermediate course was ridiculous - no water, no jump anywhere near up to height!!! Looked like a novice course. The 13, 14 &15hh must have been in the ring that had the m&m whp quals in - that had a water splash & water trays in.

Friars Ozbek was the winner of the Picton sec A's ridden by Isobel Barr.
Micor demolition LR (welsh) won by Tulliband Golden rod Micor demolition FR (welsh) won by Pendock Pennyworth
Class numbers well down on last year, about half the entries you would expect in the finals.

O.K. update from daughter who is rather pleased with herself as she couldn't ride yesterday due to work commitments and arrived late last night! Apparantly she rode Sophie Cumbers lovely highland as SOPHIE had been ill all night - 2nd Picton; 3rd Int. - think he is called Major General of Whitefield. On Steehorst Elegance 1st Int. Sec B/C - great result as he won the Pictons last year so really consistent and also 5th in the Sec B open class this morning. Line was bad but I think Sam Roberts was Int. champion on Henrietta Knights Connie and Jack Starkie reserve but don't shoot me if I am wrong!!! She sounded a 'happy bunny' anyway!
