Llandar Prydwen won the 2 & 3 yr old Section B Class. We left Co Durham at 2.45am and just made it to the show ground when hydraulics or something went and OH couldn't get it into gear! Had to be towed all the way back home but the guy was absolutely great and took a lot of time making sure we and the pony were OK. Even backed the lorry et al into our very steep narrrow driveway and parked it exactly where it should be. Cannot speak too highly of him and am now going to make him a sandwich and a cup of tea! Great day, Great Show, love my brass plaque and will definitely go again next year.

My yearling won the B class - Brandymill Moonlight. Sorry you couldn't be there would have been nice to have had a bit more competition!! My 14 year old mare came out of retirement and got 3rd in the Mare class out of 7 forward with my 15 year old daughter who was over the moon - especially with prize money as well!! Lovely day and a firm favourite of ours - we will be there next year - we have already qualified one of the ponies for 2010!

Would like to say a big thank you to the judge of the ISRT class for restoring my faith in fair judging, your name is now on my list of people to travel for ..after a season were by my daughter was nearly giving up showing ,due to the majority of judges constantly placing animals that missed behaved or facey etc etc it was a refreshing change... the standard in the class today was pretty hard to judge as all behaved and gave what was asked ( no we didnt win ..LOL) but congratulations to the guy who did . Thankyou

well done to Alice and Meadowlands Sundragon - 2nd in the Young Handler , she was thrilled with that result having only started showing this summer. Also well done to "Munch" our shetland on a third place in the coloured in hand class, really pleased with that as some judges seem unsure on what to do with a shetland in a mixed class, its nice when a judge judges them on their own merits.

Had a lovely show, well run as always, and such nice people who run it, its such a pity that one or two nasty competitors cannot have some manners, i witnessed two incidents and they where totally uncalled for, If i was on the committe i would have asked them to leave and not return again. But most of us do appreciate your hard work and we mustnt forget that without these people we wouldnt have these shows. Enjoyed meeting you lisa and having a "sing song" whilst watching the champs and"we:ll meet again dont know where, dont know when, but i know well meet again some sunny day" well done Brook

My kid won the NOVICE AND THE OPEN M&M FR - oh my god - spent all summer trawling round the shows - out of our league - looking for judges who liked our semi Ferrel pony! he was a hill pony till 4 years old - real typy big head, good mover. After tonnes of training the kid pulled it off.... the show restored my faith in showing - we are still apprentices in this game but weve got some appetite now! Well done NCPA a super show - really well run - thanks a lot!

i'd just like to thank Mrs P Hollings who judged the 128cms s ponies for the fair and accurate judging, but most of all she took time to tell each individual why they were placed where they were. These comments only took a minute but were very welcomed as the kids had a more understanding of their placings. I think more of this would be helpful in the classes. We got placed from 6th to 4th which was very fair in our opinion! Oh and well done to Sharn and Brooke (again) you are a great team. HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY TO BROOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here here, to Penny's Judging, we were not in her classes, but a my mum's friends pony won the first ridden. her owner was over the moon. We heard a lot of ringside comments about how nice it was to see the judge explaining their placings to the competitors.
we had a good day too, came home with 2 x 3rds and a 4th.
lovely show as always NCPA - Thank you.
