Would just like to say Ali f*gan if you read this at all I felt really annoyed for you coming out to do your show to a mass of ignorant cheers and clapping for the horse before you. Your horse is absolutely stunning and I'm sure you know there will be many more years ahead xxxxx
Congratulations to Amy Underwood - he's such a lovely boy and thoroughly deserved that win today ;D
Couldn't believe the way the SEIB ponies and Hacks/RHs were mish mashed together, this is a class for an amateur but seemed to be run by amateurs as well!!! None of the competitors had a clue what they were meant to be doing and the 2 judges kept talking over each other. They did the conformation with the riders still on in the pony class and did conformation with saddles on in the Hacks/RHs- hmmmmmm???!!! And to openly say on the mic 'we'll pretend we didn't see that, it can be overlooked and we'll forgive it' when a pony did the biggest spook is in my opinion disgraceful - the pony was stunning and very well ridden but this was the final of a class that many people had been travelling to get a place for but that's showing for you I suppose and they are looking for a future star which I'm sure the pony will be.

Sounds as though there wasn't much consistency then as yesterday in the Riding Club horse a fabulous horse which had performed brilliantly, pulled in as winner but reared as rosette was being presented was dismissed. Very sad for her and my heart went out to her but this was the right decision so then to have a change of heartand the above scenario to take place(especially with childrens ponies) doesn't really help the amateurs which is the whole concept.
