The schedules for the New Vision Horse Show are out to be held at David Broome Centre at the end of September this show has a totally new format. The directors are Mr Mike Florence and Mr Jeff Rowe (Jethro) and Mr McClusker who once sponsored the hunters at HOYS. I have seen a schedule but have let it in the lorry so will get details later. There is no information as yet on the Cricklands web site.

So no indoor arena for evening/special performances. Might be better, wouldn't want to send anything loopy before HOYS!!! Last time M Florence had a 'special' show everyone was in full hunting dress to start with so maybe this will be the same. Will look forward to seeing details. Does anyone know who any of the hundreds of judges are going to be?

They must be putting up a 'tent' then as, as far as I know, there is no indoor at Cricklands. Maybe they should give out an address for schedules as this poor Karen's phone will be going non stop I should think!!

Does it say in the schedule what the format is? With each class having 3/4 judges I wondered how they were going to run each class. Does anyone know?

Will the Wh ponies courses be at open height? Or will it be totally different, ie- not a normal workers course? Anyone know? Thanks.

Think it's very sad they are not doing m&ms. But then they would out number all the other entries combined. Sad that m&ms are still considered the poor relation to the horse world by some people, they just don't know what they are missing !

Does it say in the schedule what the format is? With each class having 3/4 judges I wondered how they were going to run each class. Does anyone know? It will be run on a scoring system where points are carried through to a grand final in the main arena. A series of referees will allocate points at various stages during the judging process which eleminates the question of any judge favouring a rider instead of a horse. Classes will have a maximum of four judges and a minimum of three. Judges allocate their marks immediately. The first two horses of each class will qualify for the evening performance where the same four judges will each give further makrs out of 10. Marks will be displayed on a master scoreboard from earlier and the evening marks will be added for way of going, manners presentation and the X-Factor. The new vision Supreme of 2007 will be selected from all championship winners on Sunday night and will be judged by a new panel of judges

Royal London doesn't think M&Ms are the poor relation they think they are the best and their show goes from strenth to strenth it's a three day show this year growing all the time, remember who was supreme last year the absolutely fabulous sec D three year old colt Vignoles Gambler check him out on their brand new website www.royallondonshow.co.uk

Sorry to see that this New Vision Show is clashing with Royal London. It cannot do anyone any good when this sort of thing happens. Royal London cater for ALL categories of horse and ponies from Shires to Miniature horses (Including Shetlands!) together with Working Hunters, Driving and anything else you can think of. Why is it not possible for show organisers to get together and COMMUNICATE about their championship dates? It seems as if it's a big competition to see how many other shows they can knock off the calendar. I know where I'll be that weekend and it won't be in Wales. I'll be manning the desk as usual at the three day extravaganza at Arena UK Grantham - Royal London.

What a shame there are no M&M Riddens. What show DOESN'T have them these days - they are the fastest-growing sector!
