I had a chiddock 14.2 chestnut mare - I couldn't ride one side of her sadly, she was fab with the other jockey, but I was too useless to take her in the ring (schooled her at home but I was hopeless on her at shows) such a shame - I did love her. She went on to be a prolific winner as an Endurance Pony, quite a change of career but it was her thing, she didn't like showing much!
Like the look of the palomino too, was drawn to the ad by the breeding. Shame I can't bring on a baby.

LOL HM he will have the best home ever. His jockey is the same age as him(1yr) and her mum had eventers until she retired to stud(second jockey is cooking) so he will have a fantastic home for at least the next 8 yrs.

Had a long day was up in the night with Lily then up early for swimming, Lani won 4 medals i was so proud of her she was on top form and took seconds of her PB's
The M5 car crash has really affected me as its where i lived and a road i used and still use often its like something you see on casualty not in real life i just feel for all the poor families affected.
We went to a fire work display tonight and we took Bonnie our chocolate lab she was so funny she watched the sky and wagged her tail the whole way through. She would make a wonderful gun dog as the bangs really do not bother her she is the most laid back dog i have ever met.
KJM i love the seahorse baby i hope he has a lovely home to go to x

Hatman that's brilliant about Lani no wonder you are proud, shame you were up with Lily though, hope she's OK. That M5 cash was absolutely horrific even to us who don't know the area I let my dogs out for a wee and my young one was so funny. There is a big bonfire about 1/4 mile away with a fancy, very loud, firework display and she was furious!! She is normally really laid back but the noise obviously made her very cross and she just stood barking in that direction - she could have almost wagged her finger at them! It was most out of character for her but obviously she felt her personal space was violated - very comical ;D

Blushing There's so much that's lovely in nature. It never fails to fascinate and amaze me. Guess you feel the same Brindle when wandering Dartmoor. Writing though, bit of a different matter, but thank you. Its the camera with all its frustrations that I love the best, but as that's a bit out now, I might just give words a whirl. Actually Sagey, it's dashed sore. The heel being cocked up like it is is putting a heck of a lot of strain on the ankle it aches madly being kept in a position it hasn't been in for long periods before. Visits to the lavatory, dangerous ! Standing on one leg, waving like a reed in the wind, crutches propped on the wall. I expect at any moment to become cast, lodged between the pan and the wall...... ha ha!

What about the bath? Do you have to sort of lever yourself over and drop your butt and let the poorly leg hang over. Dear god, I can't even begin to think how you get out of that one. Certainly not with any dignity. Maybe you are just not washing starlight, I didn't know you were selling your lovely horse. Glad you found him a great home and so quickly too in this awful market. modified to say, viking how did you get in the word 'cocked' without it being filtered? Don't say it too loud, you know what brindle is like when she gets a sniff of such things ;D

Are you wearing clothes for that modelling brindle or are you going glamour? Getting a bit chilly. Maybe you ought to have a shroud thing draped.

You've hit the night time scenario snapdragons. Bath a NO NO! Wrong side leg, and quite honestly I'm too scared. Washing up the way and down the way and all the bits in the middle. What a carry on it all is. Can we see some pictures please Brindle ? Loved your last ones, especially you standing with Flora on that craggy outcrop. Reminded me of Charles Wellington Furse's [- Diana of the Uplands - in some strange way. I was quite captivated by that picture years ago. Well done Starlight. Difficult time to get things sold. I guess he must have been lovely.
